Fire Safety - Did you Know ?

Since October 1st 2006 the Fire Brigades in the UK no longer issue Fire Certificates.

The responsibility for Fire Safety since 2006 has been squarely placed with individuals who own, manage or have control over a building. Completing a Fire Risk Assessment is just the first step. You should also prepare an Emergency Plan and consider your other legal responsibilities.

You must provide appropriate Fire Safety Information & Training for ALL your employees.

The Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005 places a legal duty upon employers to provide fire safety information to employees and inform them of risks to them identified in the Fire Risk Assessments, as well as provide appropriate Fire Safety training.

Do you know what constitutes appropriate training ?
